american cancer society campaign
This campaign was created in my PR for Non-Profits course as a way for us to see the amount of work that goes into a PR campaign. With the help of three other students, I created a hypothetical fundraising event, the correlating documents, and a press kit. In addition, I filmed and edited a promotional video for the event.

the 9-month mission
This idea was actually selected by our peers as the best proposal of the semester. Myself and 4 other students thought it would be interesting to create a journalism initiative that follows several different women in several different countries as they walk through their pregnancies. Nowadays, we don't often think about how difficult or unusual those 9 months could be for a woman outside of the U.S and we wanted to get people thinking about exactly that.

the blue box project
This project was brought to my attention by a good friend of mine who knew its late founder, Rebecca Read. The Blue Box Project provides a channel for community members to donate feminine hygiene products to local women's shelters and other organizations that might not be able to provide such expensive items to their dependents. In 2017, I had the privilege of getting to help bring the Blue Box Project to Texas Tech's campus for the first time ever.

sound by the shore
During the final half of my senior year of high school, I started a music festival in my hometown with three other students and our favorite teacher. We decided to call it "Sound by the Shore." While it seemed like an unattainable dream at first, after hours and hours of planning along with weeks of organizing and outreach, we were able to host one of the most successful student-run events The Woodlands, TX had ever seen. As a 17-year-old, I was pitching our idea to companies with the hope of receiving endorsement, overseeing the involvement of dozens of organizations, and coordinating with the city.
