in a nut shell...
You're busy. I understand that.
Therefore, I've compiled my favorite works here to save you from digging around on my website.
If you'd like to see more of anything, feel free to click around. But, I want you to get some sleep tonight. So, here's everything you need to know about me and what I do in a nut shell.
projects
In 2015, I joined together with 3 other students to create an annual music festival for my hometown. We decided to call it "Sound by the Shore."
Our vision was to create an opportunity for musicians in high school to share their talent with the community.
The music festival's proceeds are donated to different community initiatives and non-profit organizations.
I have always loved organizing events and SBTS gave me the chance to do so on a large scale.

writing
On my first day of class at Texas Tech, I walked by the Student Media Center.
In that moment, I decided I would need to work there. I immediately went home and applied to write for the Daily Toreador.
I was hired as an Opinions Columnist, then as the Opinions Editor, and now serve as the Managing Editor.
Some of my best writing has been published in the DT, along with some of my silliest and my most serious.

photography
I suppose we all became self-proclaimed photographers with the invention of the iPhone.
However, a couple of years ago, I decided it might be time I took my affinity for capturing moments a step further.
I began working with DSLR cameras and have since been trained on some of the most expensive equipment in the industry.
While I'm by no means an expert, I am eager to learn and comfortable with the tools I would be learning on.
